RS CONVERSION

STERN RUBIN

Own a piece of history

Cherished and unique

This vehicle was exported to Japan after the cars first registration in Germany. Maintenance stickers are present during this period. After that the then owner in 2007 at 107,065 km, converted into an RS-style replica with original parts.

The conversion was carried out by AP Car Design Göttingen, a renowned Porsche specialist in Germany. Values of an original RS version are well over 180,000 euros. About 5,000 km ago an engine overhaul and tune-up to 310 HP was carried out. Documentation about this has been viewed and verified. Normal traces of light use have been observed according to age. The aforementioned aspects have been taken into account in the valuation, supported by value and market research. According to international quality standards for classic vehicles, this vehicle can be classified into: Class: 2+

APPRAISER

According to international quality standards for classic vehicles, this vehicle can be classified intoClass: 2+

This is a rare high classification mainly due to full original paint and all OEM used parts for the RS conversion

The list of upgrades is extensive. It has fully converted the car into an ultimate cruising GT, providing great cornering fun, performing well during the occasional track day and mindblowing mountain pass handling. Agile but never too harsh, with the Bilstein and silent bloc setup allowing you to drive this 964 on the edge and catch it in time before you see the rear pass by.

Full documentation in hardcopy is available including picture and the engine rebuild, all previous registration documents, part orders and invoices. Lo Jack protected with a current Dutch subscription.

Fitted with Kinesis K28 Wheels

The forging process used to create K28 centers produces a radial grain structure in the same direction as operating stresses. After forging, the centers are heat treated, aged, C.N.C. machined, shot peened and hard anodized. All Kinesis wheels are made to order. This means that the center and both rim sections (available in half inch increments) are assembled to meet the exact requirements for your application.

K28 rims are the highest quality available. They are spun by computer operated, numerically controlled machines over tooling mandrels specifically designed for each rim size. They are unsurpassed for trueness and consistency in thickness at all critical points. Each outer rim is polished to a brilliant chrome like finish. Each wheel is assembled with forty black nickel plated aircraft quality bolts which are installed and torqued by hand. Each wheel is then put on a test stand and checked for trueness before being sealed with high quality silicone.
